If you’re here, you likely know that your mental health doesn’t just live in your mind,
it also lives in your body.

Maybe you can see that your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and life experiences
impact your nervous system.

There’s a chance you’re realizing that our culture and society are not exactly supportive systems
for our well-being.

You might be getting hints (or need reminders) that this is a process and a practice – not one and done,
but something to revisit and continue to explore.

Because we’re humans and we’re on this wild ride called life, with its ups and downs, its twists and turns,
its uncertainties and surprises.

Through 3000+ hours of educating myself, learning and teaching yoga, what I keep coming back to over and over again, are 4 important pieces:

    • Cultivating awareness of your body
    • Encouraging compassionate enquiry and curiosity
    • Learning yogic tools for self-regulation
    • Reclaiming your choices and your agency

They weave into each other and allow us to gradually reconnect to our bodies and our needs to build safety and trust, from within.

With this approach, I bring together the tools of trauma-sensitive yoga therapy, an understanding of our own capacity and seeing through the impact of society and culture.

Present & Empowered is an online space to learn, practice and get ongoing support through yoga therapy if you are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout or trauma recovery.

What you when you join:

Each month, we’ll focus on a theme and you’ll get access to:

    • Teachings to explore the connection between body, nervous system, emotions, thoughts, society, culture, trauma & mental health
[teachings draw from yoga philosophy, trauma sensitive yoga, neurobiology, social justice and my own lived experience]
    • Practices to bring the teachings into the body
[practices include movement, breathing, relaxation techniques, meditation and yoga philosophy]

You’ll also get ongoing support through:

    • Ability to ask for questions in the community
    • Daily check-ins in the community
    • Structure to make supportive practices a part of your life

You get to choose how much you engage and participate in the space so that it feels supportive for you. There’s no pressure or expectations to show up in any particular way.

Anne-Laure is a real-deal yoga teacher, meaning that she incorporates all aspects of yoga into her classes, not just a bunch of poses to get physically fit. I feel expertly guided and spiritually inspired in her classes.
